First time playing here after years of looking. Excellent experience. Friday afternoon paid $40 (!) w a military discount. Overall condition is as good as one can find except in higher end (usually) private courses. Excellent greens. I’m a 6 index and we played blue tees. The course is very short, but they figure out how to keep the rating high w tight tee shots and challenging greens. Great looking community out here. I’ll be back.

I'm not sure what is going on or what happened, but Paige has been a staple of this golf course. I have been playing at the Resort for over eight years. When she sees me, she already has my drink on the bar and I hand her my card to start a tab. After the turn she knows what snacks me and my buddies are going to have. I can not believe she is gone. She always has the best customer service with a smile. Paige has even allowed her cart girls to bring me a beer or some food while I am playing. I feel like she knows this course and members like the back of her hand and I will not come back to play here now that she is gone. Some of my buddies are also members and feel the same way, memberships are going to suffer a big loss by this move as the decision to leave was not on her own accord.

Just wanted to write this in response to some reviews recently that almost made me not want to play here.

I was very hesitant on playing after seeing reviews, so glad I ignored them. The course was in WAY better condition than expected and the greens were surprisingly great. The practice green was a little rough but on the course was great. The fairways seemed to have done a complete 180 from experiences last week lol. It was my first time playing here and I will be back.

Round was about 5 hours but it was a gorgeous day and I expected everyone to want to play. Staff was awesome.

Easily one of the worst courses I’ve played in the North Fort Worth area. All greens are fuzzy and cut horribly with patches of random grass spread all over them. Almost every bunker was full of water or rock solid with no sand. Most of the fairways are hard as a rock as well. The golf cart I was given was terrible as well, brakes didn’t work and the hub caps on the wheels kept falling off. Overall this course does not justify its $65 green fees, don’t waster your money or time here.

I wrote a bad review for this course 2 months ago. The course was under heavy maintenance and restoration at the time. That aside the course was still not up to a good condition. I played there yesterday and have deleted that prior review as I can now see some of the benefits of those maintenance and restoration efforts. Yesterday the course was in good condition (all the recent rain helped) and for the most part (with the exception of some greens with issues) was very enjoyable to play. I particularly like their layout; its challenging yet not unfair and is a lot of fun to play.

I am still hoping some day I will play there and they will have gone to the minimal expense of getting some color coded pin position flags. For those of us who cannot use range finders (eye sight or hand shake) they are invaluable in club selection on approach shots. Some of the greens, e.g. #8 there can be a 2 club difference depending on pin placement

Overall this course now gets a full thumbs up from me!!

What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful course for a reasonable price. Loved that the back 9 felt like a completely different course.

Fellow Latino guy here. The 1 star review under mine is comical. We played about 3 groups behind that group, and they were just about the slowest group I’ve ever encountered on a course. Guys were hitting 3 balls off the box a person. It’s not a problem to be a beginner, but have some respect for the other paying players and learn some golf etiquette. We aren’t residence, and the staff is always top notch and respectful. Couldn’t ask for a better customer experience. Keep up the great work guys.
